• stargate atlantis and firefly

  the thing i love the most about stargate atlantis is the way that the show laughs at itself. it is not afraid to break the 4th wall (is it 4th, or 3rd?) and just laugh.

  lol.

  anyway.

  i was flipping through the channels when i saw kaywinnet lee frye dressed in leather and standing in the woods. of course, it was not kaylee but her actress. so i decided to watch it a little. and then i find that "kaylee" and her compatriot are being hunted deranged cannibalistic "wraiths" who leave nothing of their victims (otherwise known as "reavers") while she totes around a medical bag and tries to sew up everyone (the role better known as "simon tam").

  lol.

  i love thise series. i mean, maybe they had no intention of throwing in some firefly references. but usually when writers introduce characters from other well known series, they like to pay tribute to those series.
